About Us

Riffle is a student run organisation aiming to spread awareness to the youth about lesser known issues, as well as the biggest issues we face. We are for the youth, by the youth. In the digital age, general unawareness and misinformation is extremely common amongst teenagers.

Through Riffle, we hope to eradicate that, by bringing our readers short, concise articles, which help them keep up with the world. We believe that there is nothing more important than knowing the world around you and, when the opportunity arises, doing something about the wrong in it.

Hi! I'm 16 and kinda awkward so I don't know what to write, but I manage the social media for Riffle and uh I like reading.

Harsh insists that my puppy's our Mascot. His name's Peanut. Hope you enjoy Riffle!

Arsh

Hi! I'm Arsh. After reading enough fantasy books to practically regurgitate them, I realized I had fun using some of those words to write articles - and that's what I do at Riffle news. I have a bit of an interest in Indian and American politics, with the occasional international scandal thrown in, and I try to compact as much information as possible for the reader. I admittedly have left-leaning opinions, but I always question my beliefs and am open to civilized discussions, no matter my views on the matter.

Hi! My name is Ashna, and I write for Riffle News.

I am a quirky and short person who hasn't been in the circuit for a long time. I happen to specialize in speed reading books and binge watching TV shows. However, tell me to do something and you'll have it finished perfectly.

Himani

Hi my name is Himani Todi and I create some of the art for Riffle! I also create my own art and watch a lot of tv shows, while eating all the food under the sun.

Bhavna

Hello! I’m Bhavna, I’m 16 and my interests range from physics to music to
Japanese and a whole bunch of other things that don’t quite fit in together. I
mostly spend my time either annoying my siblings or annoying my dog or binge watching anime. I’m looking forward to writing articles and sharing my opinions with the world before it inevitably ends right about next week.

Shiel

Hi, I'm Shiel. I am in my final year of high school and I'm a writer at Riffle.
I am interested in everything that is got to do with football. Apart from school, academics and uni-prep, I spend most of my time listening to music (specifically Aussie pop/indie and UK grime), video calling my best-mates and watching Netflix (no chill though :/, hmu).

Tannishtha

Heyy i’m Tannishtha. I’m 16 years old and appreciably taller than most people i’ve met (that’s a lie). When i’m not playing tennis or sleeping you can probably find me crying in math and getting yelled at for it. Apart from that my interests range from reading and writing to pokemon and sherlock to as of late, sharing my opinions on matters beyond my intelligence.
I’m looking forward to reading up and writing on issues i feel and think about and sharing them with the world. That is, if i’m not asleep.

Soumya

Hi! I'm Soumya, a 15 year old know-it-all. Apart from being a writer at Riffle, I write and edit for a few different instagram pages. When I'm not doing that, I usually spend my time cooking and developing recipes, creating new outfits, reading any book I can get my hands on, in order to increase my vocabulary and trying the weirdest makeup hacks. Apart from this, you can usually find me doing the weirdest things while talking on the phone, jumping around the house trying not to break my bones and freaking out over how I'll go to college. I have an opinion on literally everything, even if its unwelcomed, that's the main reason I love writing for Riffle, I have a platform to express myself, and share my extremely pessimistic views on everything.

Hi! My name is Veda and I’m a writer at Riffle. I study in Grade 11 and some of my interests include reading, eating and travelling. I also watch a lot of TV shows in my spare time and I find it very important to keep up with the news and political events.

Vikhyat

Hi, I'm Vikhyat. I like to explore mathematics, coding, philosophy, music, and my terrible sense of humour - ideally all at once. I work on maintaining this website and uploading articles.

Harsh

I'm Harsh and I'm 17 years old. I'm the founder of Riffle, and I edit all the articles we publish, and write some too. I'm in my last year of school, and I'm hoping to pursue English later (if I get in to college please pray for me). I spend way too much time playing video games and reading. I'm part of the tragic group of people that love music but have as much musical talent as One Direction (so none). Really hope you enjoy Riffle and that we can make you aware!
